after 6 rides at the hill we are pretty spoiled to say the least. but after being there thursday we decided to ride from salisbury. we got there at 8 and the lot already had a bunch of people. unusual. but we took off, 9 degrees , the trails were hard . good snow but stutter bumps a lot of the way, got better near hinkley . penn mountain trails were better, with the exception of the power line that sucks, but decent snow. gas at cliff's. found a motor mount bolt laying by my clutches and now know it's from the rh rear mount. headed on through forestport and on to white lake for lunch. left there and headed back to alder creek but decided to go south to barneveld, got gas there. went through deerfield trails which were sweet. we know why it's called deer field. it's like wild kingdom out there with deer running all over. kept going south to end up on the big powerline going east and west. took that to dolgeville and back up to salisbury. thank you to all the clubs . that was some amazing riding. thin to the south but passable and downright arm stretching. i'll get a video together at some point. the views that way are stellar.
