I have a 2017 sba but I have been doing a lot of off trail riding. I do 30% trail and 70% off trail. I am looking to buy a sks 155. Opinions?

Probably should ask this in the SBA/SKS AXYS forum.

I run a 2019 SKS 155 850 with a 2.6” paddle and so far it’s been fine running the trails and it rips in the backcountry. I run scratchers but rarely use them.

Is there much backcountry riding south of the Big Mac bridge?

I have not snowmobiled below the bridge.

I have had a 17 Assault for 4 seasons now and last year picked up a 155 sks.

The sks is animal in the snow and goes wherever you point it without fuss. But it takes some getting used to. The skid works very hard to keep the front end planted and it doesnt have the same fun feel that the assault has. The riding position is a lot more suited for off trail which I like a lot. But I am glad to have my assault still for fast trail rides ans such.
