Well kids it looks like Uncle Roman needs to drop some serious coin on some kick ass skis and carbides...I have 136 trail studs and have been plowing around twisties for too long....I am going to buy something at the Novi show...all suggestions will be taken seriously.. Help is always appreciated.

Here is a pic of the new Slydog Powderhound. 7" wide and only a couple ounces heavier than the 6". Should be an awesome powder ski and great way to lose some weight.

Powder Pros - 7.88lbs ea
Straight Lines- 7.28lbs ea
Slydogs 6" - 6.06lbs ea
Simmons - 8.18lbs ea

These can be done in custom colours. :div20: I have asked for a picture of the keel of the ski. Not sure if this would make a great trail ski but who knows.

There is a ski by Pilot.

Pilot 5.7 trail and Pilot 6.9 mountain dual-runner skis
These skis are the next evolution of the Precision™ dual runner skis, delivering better performance in soft snow conditions, improving bite in corners and reducing weight [two pounds/.9 kg per ski]. Pilot skis feature a deep center keel and carbide like a traditional ski, with an additional shorter keel and carbide on the outside. In neutral conditions the sled is steered by the center keel; in cornering the outer keel also bites to provide additional steering control. Sleds require a different left and right ski. The mountain version [Pilot 6.9] is wider for flotation and especially reduces steering effort on the trails. Not sure if we can get these to work on the cats but who knows?

I have the slp powder pros that are nothing short of excellent. Not the same sled after. Just bought another set for my zr.
Good luck!
