I'm kinda new at this and I'm trying to figure out how to drain my chaincase on my 02 Legend so I can replace the lube. I can see under the belly pan the opening that gives me access to the drainplug but can't understand how to remove it. There is a small round opening but not a hex that would take an allan key or something. It is not raise to the point that I could get a vicegrip on it either. I don't get it. Anyone?

Apparently some model years do not have a drain plug, you have to remove the chaincase cover and let the oil leak down the frame through that hole. I just checked my '02 Grand Touring and it has a hex drain plug.

work a plastic bag under and behind the chaincase first. then pull the cover off and the bag will catch most of that lube........good luck
