Good Morning HCS!

Looking at the upcoming weather, Been quite cold this week so that should be helping to freeze things up out there, And it looks like some more cold returns for the weekend as well as a couple storm systems, The first one is a large ocean storm that looks to stay mainly offshore just affecting DE Maine with up to 6" of snow in Washington County, Our next weather maker is a low pressure system that forms of the Carolina coast and moves north just inland along the coast.

Models have been consistant over the last few days with tracking the surface low inland thru eastern NY, A secondary low tries to get going along the coast as it moves into NE, Right now, That would favor heavy snow from the coastal plain north and west with 6"+ of snow, Along the imdeiate coast, There will be a change over possibly from snow to sleet and some rain holding accumalations down in that arrea, As always, Track is very importnat and i will continue to monitor this over the next couple days and do a map as warranted, Stay healthy, Stay safe and Stay Tuned! gade

This storm track has remained inland and we will end up on the east side of the low as it tracks thru VT, Here is the snow map, This will be a heavy wet snow for most with some rain mixed in along the coast and just inland in the 5-7" zones, Look for snowfall rates of 1-2"/hr with winds along the coast 60mph+ and 40-50mph inland with blowing and drifting snow/sleet with power outages possible late tonight and thru the day tomorrow, Stay safe all!! gade

Will we be adding more soon later in the week? Not trying to get too greedy. Just want to make up a little for all the missed storms lately. ;)
Not gonna cry about this forecast. Thanks Gade
Looking ahead, There is some light snow mid week with a clipper and then another possible significant storm around the 24-25th, That one looks like it would have more cold air to work with and would track along the coast this time but its a long ways out.
