Anyone know why cat want u to change fluid in the shocks after 200 miles. How many people actually do this?????

The shock oil gets very dirty from all the new parts, and makes the shocks go bad faster. Your shocks will last alot longer if you get them rebuilt after the first 200-400 miles. Hope this helps

free shock rebuilds - not likely. unless your real tight with your dealer. its recommended and worth every penny if you plan on keeping your sled a few years saves you money later.

shocks are one thing that will never be warented is what i am saying people can blow out a shock in a day i bet by the end of next year i will have to redo my rear suspension. They can only take so much abuse they are not indestructable but i think arctic-cat is just trying to get more money from us by saying change oil in the after the first 200 miles. it wont help them last any longer in my opinion.
