i read a snowmobiler died just east of the city last week when he hit an approach with his sled..my prayers go out to his family and friends..jus tonite coming into prince albert i saw another snowmobiler had an accident, it looked like he hit ice chunks on the trail where the groomer had fell through..they say he was ok , lucky guy...lets be safe out there people

Where was that?. It sounds like we need to train groomer operators to clean up the trail, or place warning markers, after an ice break through or getting stuck. This equipment is supposed to make sledding safer, not cause hazards. If that was at a water crossing the ice will be there all winter if it is not taken down by machine.

on hiway # 2 north, bout 8 kms outa town...there is about 3 spots like that....visible during day but at night hard to see....i drive that road daily so if ican find flagging tape i will put up some warnings at least....
