I have an 03 500 XCSP motor in 04 pro x Chassis. Its running pretty lean. because of some space and fitting issues on the pro X i am unable to run the stock airbox. so I am running UNI snow filter Pods. which i assume is making it lean, stock jets on my 500 XCSP are 410 and im currently running 2 sizes fat 430's. should i get bigger jets or should i adjust something else??

I'd like some help and bright ideas but i dont want this to turn into the typical bash on not having an airbox. thanks much!

well you do need an airbox... you run the 600 carb boots, 600 pipe/ can, 600 airbox and you should be able to get away with running close to stock everything else

Main jets really only effect fuel ratio at 3/4 to full throttle. if you are lean in the 1/4 to midrange, you need to raise the needles(moving the clip on the top of the needle to a LOWER groove). You can do a lot of idle to 1/4 tuning with the fuel screws
