I was going to tell you order the Flex-Tec kit with standard mounts but it looks like they have come out with new mounts for the Hayes brake reservoir. The standard mounts will work but are very tight around the parking brake lever.

Standard mounts worked fine. Like they said..are a little tight around the parking brake area - you will need to move the switch housing & brake a little to make it fit properly....not a big deal.

good to know the standard mounts will work.... I can just moved my flextecs over from my IQ

 

assult needs the pro taper bar mounts they are different, but on the site,.

 

Not for the protaper straight bars, only for the rmk/sks riser bars :thumbsup:

 

How do these handguards work in the really cold weather. I had the "dumbo ears" on my Nytro and they seemed to deflect the cold weather quite well. Would The ROX ones be comparable?

 

Nick has them on his 14. I rode it without handguards and then with the Rox. My hands froze without and were great with the Rox guards on. I like them so much I bought a set for my 17, they arrived Tuesday. I got the the Hayes mount kit, per Ryan at Rox. There on sale at Rox right now.

Have them on my IQ they work great and they have survived many roll overs while getting the sled unstuck.
