We finally got some good snow in northern lower Michigan so our gang went up to Mancelona. It snowed the whole time we were there! The trails just kept getting better until late saturday night-no grooming going on.

My only complaint was how cold blooded the cat is. This thing takes forever to warm up and run good. It sounds like it has a fouled plug for the first 3-4 miles but then it really comes alive.

My F5 runs right along side my buddies '01 MXZ 800 and I even beat him a couple times in an open field with about 5" of fluff on top of hardpack. His studs are really worn so he could'nt hook well but still it's an 800! To be fair he would walk away from me on hard packed roads though.

My wife rides my old '01 MXZ 600 but she was too chicken to run against me. I'd like to see how they compare.

I've got a red F5 it got alot of attention-gotta love that!

The potato fields are in Alba north of Mancelona.

Where are the radar runs going to be held and what time? Might see you there- we are staying in Grayling and will ride the Blue Bear trails.
