I have seen people mentioning of their tachometer being 'in-accurate'(Max. RPM's), but my question is....

I have 0 miles on my sled, but I do notice when the sled is running(idle-ing or rev-ing on a stand), the tachometer has a 'delay' that is most noticable when it is set on the analog setting. It seems to have a 1/2 to 1 second delay before it registers the increase in RPM's... Anyone else notice this?? Will rotating the tachometer cure the 'slowness/un-responsivness' of the tachometer?
Thanks.

bee1971,

I read yuor post..... Thanks for the info.

I "rotated" my coil the way the AC instructions say and the tach recall seems very accurate. Like bee1971 said, it still has the delay. I guess there is no fixing that......

One other thing, on the F7 engine, the mag. side wire is just barely long enough to do this proceedure.....
