im trying to change the brake disc on my 01 mxzx 440, and i cant get the inner chaincase cover off. I removed the outer cover and drained the oil. i loosened the chain, and removed both gears. Then i removed the 3 nuts holding the inner cover on and it wont come off. the cover has moved about 1/2" and its free from the upper shaft, but when i pull and pry on it it seems like the lower shaft that drives the track moves in and out with the over. Is there something like an allen screw or something that connects this cover to the lower shaft, or am i just a wimp??

please give me some tips or encouragement to just pull harder.

thanks, John
