I have a '99 zr 500 efi and have always been tenative about buying a big bore kit due to reliability issues. Is this efi kit adjustment free? Any input would be greatly appreciated?

B) D & D are one of the most reputable.
Black Majic has given me much grief and so has P.S.I.
Here is what you need to know. If you want your 500 to run like a 900
BUY A 900. Or your throwing you cash away.
Take your woopin on the lake against the big buys, and learn to wip'em
in the twisties.

I agree with the post above, if you want a high hp sled then buy one, dont buy a little one and keep dumping money into it ti keep up with the big boys, just know that chances are good you can outride the 800 and 900's on the trails...and be happy knowing it. Your not going to take us on the lake but have fun trying and have fun on the trails.

ive ridden my friends race sled with a similar motor and i can't say it is remotely the same as an 8 or 900 as far as throttle response. the pull is unreal.

I'm going to have to agree with the other guys on this one nothing is going to beat an 800 or 900 espicially on throttle response my 900 is right there from 3500 rpm right to 7200. It really comes down to what type of riding your doing trails or mainly lakes. B)
