Did anyone notice the black push pins that locate the red reflector to the tunnel are missing? It appears the track sheared off the end my black push pins on the right side, one was completely gone. My friend had one of his black push pins missing on the left side. Both tracks were centered before we started riding. We also noticed the outside edges of the track frayed after 330 miles.
Frayed edges are not uncommon. I have just under 300 miles on my zl 600 and the edges are frayed. I beleave it happens from the terain you are running on, i.e. rocks sticks, etc.
I lost mine too. I noticed they bit the dust after a build up of ice called my attention to the tunnel b/c of the horrid noise coming from it. Cleared out the ice build up and no more noise issue.
sled-head my 98 ZRT600 track has frayed, but thanks for the lighter suggestion.
