when I pull my 01 800 off trailer with the skis still on trailer my rear susp
goes up and down real easy. but once its completly off trailer it feels fine
seems to ride good, I bought it used w/2500 miles but was told they were
rebuilt before storage last summer. just wonder if thats normal
or time to rebuild again ft,back or both ??????

its alright... think of how much more weights on the rear xel with the skis up in the air like that... as lonmg as its normal on the ground it should be good....we rebuild ours every 3000 miles

and if it gets really light and sags check ur springs i broke one of mine about 15 miles away from the came with some pretty rough trails back... made it back on 1, with my little brother ridin it, and me and my dad on his 800, the skis were always a minimum of 2 inches off the ground

this fooled me the other night also with my skis on carriers to keep the carbides from tearing in to my garage floor. The track was on the floor and the suspension was very soft. I think the friction is reduce majorly when the slides are not resting on the track. don't worry about it!
