My brother and Uncle, both have the old style, electric shield hookups on their sleds. Last week, when we were riding, both of the ends on the wire that comes off of the helmet, where you plug into the dash, came loose and now the shields don't work.

My brother is thinking of cutting the end off of the helmet wire, and soldering in an RCA connector. Then he is just going to replace the dash hookup, where it plugs into the accessory wire, with the RCA adapter.

Does anyone have the Radio Shack Part Number, or description, for these RCA style connectors. I am sure that will be cheaper then just ordering one out of a parts book. Same quality, they just bump up the price.

Thanks, I appreciate your help.

Brian.
Could it have been 274-346? 272-346 doesn't exist.

Mike,
272-346 was the # someone posted earlier in year. Not sure if right or wrong, but looks like ACF7 pointed you in right direction.
