i lined up with a 2003 edge x 700, and a 2002 edge x 700 and i beat them both from holeshot all the way through by like 7 sled lengths or more, and my f7 is stock and the 2002 edge x is stock and the 2003 edge x had some clutching done to it, but i still beat them both.
Also, the races were across a full 2 mile lake and over this 2 mile lake i beat a zr 900 also! belive it or not others were there to see it also. I beat 2 rev 800's also, but one was going a lot better than the other by like 4 sled lenghts so i suspect that there was somthing done to it most likely since this guy tunes his sleds a lot.
oh yah i raced some t-cat 1000's and they were a vicum of my f7 today too in a 1/2 mile stretch , i didnt get to go for a long though because my low oil light came on so i had to go home to fill it up, but in the 1/2 mile i was ahead of a 2003 zr 900, 2003 rev 800, 2001 t-cat 100, 2000 t-cat 1000, 2002 edge x 700, 2001 xc 800 and some others.
SO the fact is that the people who say an xc 700 with beat and f7 are holucinating, because those sleds were little toys compared to mine, no challenge at all, i felt the zr 900 was a real chalenge but i beat him also, but some times he beat me to, it was pretty even, but i am really happy with my sled!
