Just wondering wat u guys think is the best race sled to trail convert, and list wat mods need to be done

revs i think will last longer in trail forum.....but i have a polaris and it seems to work fine

im a cat man but from what ive heard it takes ALOT to convert them... so i say IQ or REV

A mid to late '90s Polaris 440 XCR. My brother has one and the engagement is a little high, but you can trail ride it just as good as any other sled.

Pick your favorite one. They are all going to be a pain in the ass and lots of money to convert properly to be dependable.

Go with the rev they are not that hard to convert. I would use a 600 or a 800 stocker though and make sure you have a doner sled for parts to get everything off from

my 03 prox 440 is great. I'm not sure what year you are thinking though. just needed the following:
big tank
trail head kit
needles from 01 prox 440
32.5 pilot jets
oil injection if you like

i did the head kit and tank myself, sled had injection. Got the info on the carb work from pockets,ripperd and nickels on this forum.

i would not go for the polairis IQ not a good trail sled unless you put alot of money. i would personaly go for the rev they look alot more trail and they are easyer to convert
