Hello, I have a quick question about mounting a pair of C&A skis onto a 90 polaris indy lite. Do they mount directly to the ski spindle, no saddles used. The original metal skis have a square rubber piece that goes under the ski spindle, my question is do I use the rubber mount with the new skis? Thanks for your help. :beerchug:

use the C&A mounting kit specific to your sled-they are different for each make/model. For instance, my 570 uses no rubber piece, but my friend's 97XCR mounting kit came with a rubber saddle that goes underneath the spindle. Good luck!

I don't think you can put them on without affecting the suspension. Those old sleds had a higher mounting point on the ski. Putting new/aftermarket ski's drops the ride hieght by at least an inch. Maybe take a look and see if you think it would be an issue.
