the easiest way is to unhook the 2 elbows between the edge grips and the rear exchanger. But for any cool down to work, you have to do somthing with the thermostat, and you cant just remove it, because when it opens, it closes a bypass.
I run mine out the back as Krom suggested.You just bypass the center exchanger.I took Dead1Daves advice on the thermostat and put it in boiling water and just bent over the 4 little tabs when it opened. :div20:
We removed the thermostat, you can fashion a plug out of a carriage bolt, a washer and two nuts to block off the bypass. We put our setup in the system under the overflow tank near the chain case, but the tail end looks like a cleaner area to work with. Be sure to get all the air out before riding the sled.
