Just south of Baie Comeau. If I remember correctly (I am sure it will be pointed out if I don't) the bridge is 704 feet long. Been there a couple of times, very impressive.

Put all my sled pictures in one spot.  Might be fun to take a peak and relate to a few spots you may have been too.  Most of the pictures I have taken in the last few years.  Hope to take more this season, but like everyone else the price of fuel may play a factor.

Cool pics....I was going thru your photo album and was surprised to see some one I know.....Greg G. Actually on your trip last winter, me and my buddies ran into him and mostly likely you also in one of Quebec City's finer establishments. :beerchug: :dance2: Maybe we will cross paths up there again this winter. We are planning on riding out of Shawningan in Jan/Feb. :div20:

By sled, it is 377 miles north of Quebec City, just south of Baie Comeau, (we have made that a 1 day up, then 1 day back ride before, but it’s nicer if you stretch it out). They claim it is the longest snowmobile bridge in existence, at over 700 feet, it is really huge. A nice loop is up the west side of the St Lawrence to see the bridge, cross via one of the ferries, than down the east side of the St Lawrence.

For nightlife, I like Jonquerrie and Quebec City. Plenty of options to keep the whole group entertained, including nice places to eat and sleep. After riding in Quebec for 60,000 miles, you really get to appreciate the nicer places.

For riding, I like the more open trails, with a minimum of people. I like the Mont Valins area, 100’s of miles of trails, none including the over used 93. I also like it in the triangle from L'Annonciation to Senneterre, to Mont Laurier. It’s a fine balance, get too far out, and the signing and grooming goes to hell, stay too close and the traffic is death defying.

Heading north up the west side of the St Lawrence also has very little traffic.

Not to take anything away from those areas in western Quebec.... they aren't bad either, but untill you ride the north side of Lac St Jean, Mt Valins, or Gaspie....the general riding, and scenery still blows me away every trip.
