my ZR 600 EFI with pipe and chip pulls hard on bottom but dosent pull as hard on top i have a green secondary spring with a 52/44 helix would it be better to go with 53 helix and black spring or go with 52/44 with black spring or 53 with green spring. thks if u can help just wnt my sled to run as good as it can all around the power band with the parts i have lyin around. or stock yellow spring with any of these helixs.

try changing the spring first. green is superstiff, good for backshift but bad for topend mph. yellow spring will give you most topend as long as the belt doesn't slip but backshift will suffer.
changing to a straight 53 helix may give you better pull on top but will lower your peak rpms considerably.

if your pipe is d&d and your peak rpms are over 8200 you're losing serious hp.

I agree with edsled,,get rid of the green spring it's to much for a 600 ,,work with yellow,, you seem to have a big gap in your helix, you must be running monster weights to need that set up,,,or your over reving,,,R2R

thks for info im gonna go back to yellow spring and 53 helix. i didnt specifically use theses clutch parts only used them cause i found them in my garage and didnt hve any other parts.
