I would very much like to see an F6 at the same HP levels as the REV 600 HO. The F9 won't be feasible I think. The ZR 900 vibrates hard-core, if you put that in a light weight sled the thing would fall apart!

I'm not saying that the F9 is imminent, but a couple comments. The 900 in the ZR wouldn't be the same one in an F9, so who knows about vibration. Regardless of vibration, light weight does not indicate weak. The Firecat chassis is actually a stronger chassis than the ZR...Marc

even the 800 vibrates alot, but thats what happens with big twins, like the v-twin to a sportbike, u have 2 huge pistons compares to the same cc engine with smaller pistons, making less vibration

What would be the advantage of an F6 over the F7?
1) More easily insured and lower rates
2) My wife could actually ride it around the property some
3) Marketing niche - the 600 class is a sweet spot that most trail riders like
4) It would give Cat something to compete head to head with the REV600HO

My F7 shuts up the 800 Ski-poo guys now :D

I think an F6 will be the choice to put out, for reasons already stated,
the insurance, to compete with the "other" brands in that class, ect.,
and the guys I know with the 900 like the ZR chassis and are
really hoping they don't drop it, just maybe tweak it a little. But I'm
afraid sooner or later the ZR will be fazed out. (More sooner than later)
Them die hard ZR guys need to really ride one of these sleds, I
think it would change their opinions of the F chassis.

Just my opinion

Dealer heard something about F8 around 165 HP. Said, same engine that Tucker ran in the open last year, but down on the HP level as his sled.
