I've done a search on HCS and found nothing yet. Has anyone had any experience with the RMK "essentials bag"? If it's been talked about, send me a link.
The questions I have are:
Will it fit the Matryx trail sleds?
Is it mostly water-snow proof/resistant?

The under seat storage is open to any and all things getting inside of it (yes, I know there's a bag for under seat) and I don't like to disconnect my heated seat plug to get into it and I usually put a spare quart of oil and fuel additive (sea-foam or star-tron) in that area. My dash box stores my hat and wallet and other little items.
My goal is to find something that's easy to get to, can store an extra sweatshirt, stocking hat & spare gloves while staying dry. This RMK bag seems to do the trick if it fits my sled and keeps my stuff dry. I haven't seen/held one yet, so I'm turning to you guys.

If the bag doesn't do the trick, maybe a small backpack is actually what you are looking for.
What you want to carry isn't heavy, so you won't notice the weight and probably won't even notice you're wearing it.
Easy to get to and if need be, you can take quite a bit more.

I did end up ordering the RMK Essentials bag and it does fit and it has the exact room I'm looking for! It's waterproof (97% anyway) and will store a lite jacket and/or sweatshirt and a spare pair of gloves. Since neither the dash or under-seat compartment are waterproof at all, this is the perfect answer. I store a quart of oil and tow rope under the seat (my buddies ride Ski-Doo's, so I'd like to help them if needed 😂) and the dash area holds Insurance & registration, misc items in baggies along with spare heated shield cables and my hat.
