Almost all my life. My dad was always buying the fastest sled of the time and back then it wasn't always polaris. He used to mod the shit out of them and then sell then 2 years later and get a new one and do it all over again. My first ever big sled was a 1989 indy 400. I used to play on that all day long. That was when I was 5. After that I got a 1993 phazer. Rode that for a bit then crashed it. So back to polaris and I have had them ever since, my dad got back to polaris in 1999 and my mom has always liked ski doo so we always have bought her ski-doo and my sister doesn't even care as long as its comfortable "cute" looking and wicked fast.

my 1st sled was a 74 or 76 440 boa ski not can't remember the year short lived 1 season then a jdx 8 john deere for 2 seasons and the next sled I still have a 1987 polaris indy 600 don't look like the original any longer, but it runs great. it runs pretty danm fast cause it's not stock and I can't get rid of it cause I have too much damn $$ in it.. Nice to play with.

my very first sled was a 68 polaris charger. 372 jlo rockwell one-lunger.
that thing was all steel, fiberglass and wicked ugly. :augen41: it was
my first though.

after that came a 73 yammie gp292b, an 89 exciter, a 98 yammie 600sx
[the sled that ran me back to polaris. to stay.] then to my 01 XC 600 that
i just got rid of back the first of august.

i have my childhood dream sled sitting in the shed. mint condition 90 indy
650. tripple psi pipes and 192 picks. gotta love the scream from a triple/triple
at 9100 rpms. :banana:

plus, i just re-upped the anite again. :div20:

First Polaris was a 1989 Indy 500 had all triples after that until 2002, still miss them. Between my wife and me have had 13 Polaris sleds with 14th on the way.

this is my first polaris, and wouldnt suprise me if it isnt my last so far i am really liken it, i dont like the look of the new ig chassis that much but they are growing on me

First Polaris for me was a 94' XLT-SP. Ended up piping it with PSI pipes after a season of riding. It's still my most favorite Polaris I've owned so far.
Got a 97' XC 600 after that and then a very used 98 XC700 a couple years later.
Right now going on third season with the 95' RXL my neighbor gave me because he didn't want to fix it when he bought a new sled.
In the process of converting to carbs right now.
