Had to get some good scotch double sided tape to put on all the light pods. I forgot they came without it installed. I clean them all with alcohol and use the 3m primer before installing the tape on all of them.
Material property Nickel Silver Circle Auto part

the primer i ordered ontop of the kit. Also order couple meters of the same wire incase i had to extend any of these lights

@Calltrex could you do a part break down of the light kit?

I see you have 10 pod lights, some extra wire and looks like a longer strip of led light sets.

Like are the pods going installed around the engine bay and the longer led straps under the running boards?

Is there a switch or fob to turn them on and off?

I got a MY23 VR1 boost coming (hopefully) this year and would love to install some of these Boogey Lights on it!

Thanks for sharing this build and helping me spend my paycheck on mods! Lol

Pro tip:

Grind this tab off. Next time you remove your chaincase you can spin it off no problem

Heres what i ordered. I ordered separately this time.
last 2 sleds i ordered this kit if u want to make it simple. 66 LED Hi-Intensity Light Kit

Heres what i used this time
10 pods Mini-POD Hi-Intensity LEDs
2x strips 35.5" long Low Profile Surface Mounted LED Strips
Extra wire if needed to extend 2 Conductor (18 AWG) Power Lead Wire (Not Dyed)
Waterproof relay Heavy Duty 12vdc 40/30 AMP Relay
3m Tape 3M Double-Sided Tape
3M primer 3M Adhesion Primer
Butyl tape Butyl Tape
Switch - used this on last 2 sleds ON/OFF Toggle Switch - 25A
Cold Zip ties Product Search || Bolts Plus Inc.

When deciding your colors if you choose the RGB changing colors then they wont be as bright. thats why i only choose solid colors. I could have got purple but then it wouldnt be as bright. Night time you dont see color of sled anyways so doesn't really matter if lights match your sled color

Thanks again for the break down calltrex. Also the tip about the muti color ones not being as bright.

Now all I got to do is figure out what solid color and get the credit card out lol.

Do you have a protector on the bottom of your running boards, to protect the LED lights from a sled lift?

No. It doesn't go near the lights

I cut the corner off the fender pan so if i ever had to remove the fender it doesn't effect the light stripe

Saw these and grabbed 2. I have 6 lights per side. For easy fast hookup ill try it. Not waterproof but worth a try. you can keep each one on or off.

I’m sure your aware this tab is there for a reason. Was wondering how else you get the cover off now without prying in between and damaging the gasket.

Cover is never tight. Just pull on off with your hands
