No need to trim the spindles. I am not 100% sure if your wildcat has the same size cast spindles as my prowlers do, but I believe they do. I have found a couple of plastic ski kits that are made for our wide cast spindles. Check them out and good luck. Prowler

ATS PRO FLEX 2 Ski Kits

These are the only choices I have found for the larger cast spindles (3-3/4"), and this is the only place I have found them. I am not too sure if the prices are canadian or american (I think they are canadian), but either way they seem to be a decent deal and about the only options for us with the old cast spindles. Hope this info helps, as I know I searched for a long time to find them. Good Luck. Prowler

[attachment=95064:attachment][attachment=95065:attachment] These are Cycle works Maverick skis. They are brand new with standard wear bars. They fit on a 94 Wildcat and T-cat. $80 plus shipping. They should fit. They are a buddies of mine, but I have them in my possesion. They take standard cat carbides. A buddy of mine used to work for PSI and thats where these came from.

These skis probably won't work. 94 had different spindles than 92.

There are places that have plastic skis that will fit the cast spindle. The Royal Distributing prices are in Canadian dollars. Plastic skis will be great improvement on the front end of that old sled.

I went back and checked the online microfische. The pictures look very similar, but they are different part numbers from 92 - 94. It looks like the 94 Wildcat did have cast spindles, maybe it was only the ZR's, like mine that had the steel spindles in 94. The only way to know for sure would be to compare measurements of the ski sadle and the spindle bushing on the 92. $80 bucks sounds like a good deal. I think you'll really like the plastic skis.

Thanks for all the info so far guys. The sled belongs to my girlfirend's dad. We wanted to try and surprise him with some new skis. It sounds like what I really need to do is get to his sled and measure the width of the spindle. If it is 3 3/4 inches, then Cat doesn't make a ski that would work? About how much would I have to cut the spindle down to get a Cat ski to work on it? Thanks, Mike.

Are these skis still available? If so could you measure the saddle width and let me know. Thanks...Prowler
