Anyone think camoplast all terrain skis would help performance on an xlt? Or are the factory steel skis good as they come?

no experience with the camoplast skis, but most report that newer polaris plastic skis are a nice upgrade for those sleds

Steel skis were solid, but dragged a little in the snow. Polaris put the skins on them in an attempt to reduce some drag, but that came at the expense of cornering. Plastics will be a nice upgrade as you'll get some cornering control back (that you likely didn't even know you were missing) and not have any extra drag from the steel. Also, being a little lighter, it should help with steering response too.

Any Polaris plastic would do you well. Some of the aftermarket ones are really great for certain types of riding, but I don't know anyone running anything besides the Polaris skis at this point. Also, that's all that I have had on any of my last three or four sleds.

I'd just hop on eBay and look for a nice set of polaris plastic skis that we're take offs. There are lots of people taking their stock black ones off for pretty colored ones. I'm running a set of fusion skis on my edge and then took my stock edge skis off and put them on my supersport. The supersport came with the same steel skis you have on your sled. It's a nice upgrade,

I'd recommend staying away from the polaris plastic skis with aluminum saddles, bushings seems to wear loose over time, and saddles are not available for replacement. the skis where the saddle is integrated in the plastic seems to wear much better
