Setting up a 600R for upcoming watercross season. New pistons with approx. 1/2 hour total run time. Limited run time, only can do a couple of passes at a time in a field due to no cooling.
Looks like lots of wash?
Runs were all done between 20-27*C / 70-80*F
If the ambient temperature was lower, say 10-15 *C / 50-60*F How much will that change the wash and my jetting requirement? Or how much will my wash change with temperature change?

2008 engine, stock.
Last runs were done with the following.
320 mains, needle at first slot, 0.9 air/45 pilot. fuel screw approx. 2 turns. timing on D, 98 octane.

Thanks

LOAD has a huge bearing on jetting requirements. Not much load in water skipping.

More load makes an engine run rich less load makes a engine run leaner.

I would say you are safe or a tickle rich for field bombing.

Find some water run a pass, do a plug chop.

Take your time.
