Just a heads up Firecat owners. My right front (throttle side) skid mount bolt came loose a few times but I was aware some did that. I took a few minutes to pull the bolt after 300 miles and the SPACER WAS MISSING!!!!! Its the bronze one that slides in the front arm that the bolt goes through. Part # 0104-629 spacer front arm. It was missing from the factory. Grease comng out on the tunnel is a giveaway that you have a problem.

Dan I never looked. The sled is in Maine. I picked up the missing part in Turner on the way home. Will check when I pop it in and grab the grease gun . Does yours have a grease fitting?

Mainecat,

I think that you will find that your front arm doesn't have grease zerks in the area that you are talking about. ZREFIrider had a post erlier that has pictures of the front arm bolts spewing a substance from that area that wich is caused from metal rubbing on metal.... Take a look at the link below and see if it what you saw on your sled.

Jleo thanks I did read that when it was posted. Thats why I pulled the bolt to see if it was missing the spacer and sure enough it was. The part is used on all ZR's as well as the Firecats.
