I am talking to naults right now about tradeing in a 380 skidoo 97 2,300 miles on it for a 98 680, I dont know the miles so far! what should i give them?

Iam sure it is over 2,300 miles, and mine would be great for kids! it does about 65, and handles nice in the trails!

Are you talking about a Polaris 680 ? If so, I think you would be better off w/ the 380.

Honestly I would hold off and find any polaris or skidoo 600 that was a 2001 and newer, the ride is SO much better on any of the newer style sleds . Any brand of sled that has 12~14" of rear skid travel is what i would be trying to talk you into. If you feel that a 600 has to much power and dont need to go that fast the polaris 500 cc water cooled sled is the best option from that camp . the skidoo 500 water cooled is also a great motor , basicly any water cooled sled has enough power ..... the fan cooled 550 and 500 class has a top speed of 65 mph and they use more gas then most 800 cc sleds trying to maintain a fair pace (45 mph) on trails with your friends.

my sons 550 classic is pretty comparable to most sleds for mileage[800xc,700fusion,488trail]

his sled does 75 on trails and 85 on lake

guess its the break in :dunno: imo

500 liquid is faster

98 Formula 670 is a carb engine. The 670's were good sleds for their era! I would buy the new sled you can afford as the new sleds are far more advanced in engine & suspension performance. As stated earlier 2001 and new 600 class would be your best buy. :div20:
