I have a 2004 f7 and i have been running cat apv oil and it's good oil but it's not worth 35 bucks a gallon. What kind oil is good for about 30 bucks a gallon or less.

I've had good results with Amsoil racing oil. You can get it for about $25 a gallon.

I can have the Amsoil Interceptor delivered for about $95.50 per case of 4 gallons at Preferred Customer (Dealer) cost. This is about $23.90 per gallon. You won't find it delivered cheaper. There was a price increase that went into effect Oct 1. Check out the details in the Sponsor - Group Buy section of the classifieds.

Yea that price was from this spring, I think it was $87 a case for gallons. I purchased quarts and had a mess when they arrived. Should have stayed with gallons :doh:

I recommend AMSOIL Interceptor. I give it to ANYONE at my cost without needing to pay for a dealer or preferred customer membership.

If your going to fuss over a few bucks for oil, maybe you need to get out of the sport...


Either way, they are all good oils. Amsoil, Klotz, Cat's oil, Redline. I am running Klotz in my Sno-Pro's and it has been great, but I doubt I would gain or loose preformance by switching to a different oil.
