Last night I ws sealing my pipe with high temp silicon and was looking over my engine with a flashlight. Crap everywhere from a bad seal on the collar to the y-pipe. Anyway, I was looking at all the unburnt oil that sprayed on my throttle assmbly and noticed that the post that connects the top of the oil rod to the throttle assembly does not have a cotter pin...Hmmmmmm. My dealer turned down my oil last season however I only rode it for 11 miles. It looks like the post does have a hole in it to accept a cotter pin....should there be one there? I can't imagine that the rod just stays on the post by friction alone???

Thanks in advance
