I agree,how can you enjoy your ride if your staring at a warning light!
Why don't they just turn the light on when ever the sled is running ? It would be about the same!!!!!!!
My oil light comes on when I have used about 3/4 of a quart. I think the F-7 holds almost a gallon of oil. :ph34r:

talked to my dealer the other day and after he rode in canada with the ac reps they said there will be a fix for a premature oil light. when actuallyhe and i dont know

Ditto here. Oil light comes on after less than a quart is used. Won't even make it through the day on a long ride, even with the tank totally full to start with.

I ride rough trails and mountains mostly and the Firecat oil light is a pain, something needs to be done. Light is on about 25 miles into a ride. I let other people ride my sled a lot as it is the only one in a 200 mile radius and I have to tell a lot of people to ignore it. :wacko:
