Anyone know when the 2021-22 version will be offered?

I guess it's available for Apple phones.
I can't find it, or at least I don't think I can?? App Store has a new york state snowmobile trails app published by LW Brands, but it's missing a lot of the information that used to be in the old NYSSA app from CGIS Solutions. It looks like an off-brand knockoff (that said it's better than no maps at all, which is what I can currently get from NYSSA's app). If I am wrong about this, and I hope i am, someone point me in the right direction.

You're right, but, after a while using it I was able to gain some pretty good ground truth knowledge about what clubs are good at updating the app, and which ones are not, and could plan accordingly. But it's not a big deal at the end of the day anyway; the only nav tools that can really be relied on are riders' eyes, literacy skills (apparently there are plenty of illiterate mf'ers who can't resolve what's on signs, like "trail closed"), watch, and odometer. And carry a compass but step off the sled to use it ...

Unorganized clubs makes planning ride a HUGE PITA. I hate having to visit a dozen club's Facebook pages in order to plan a ride, and not everyone is on Facebook.

These same clubs that cannot manage to provide their trail status on the NYSSA Site are the first ones to complain about trespassing on closed trails.

Therein lies the beauty of the NS1. And this year you can get it to run in split screen mode so you can have the NYSSA app on one side and the gauges configured on the other side. Should be neat to try it out once the snow flies (which it will at least twice this winter lol)

As with ALL apps the available information is limited to user input and updates... this includes riders as well as clubs and groomer operators. If everyone is not able or willing to share their observations the app cannot work to it's full potential. Unless 100% of riders and clubs start using the app there is no use in having it.

Im not saying the trails never change, but in an area like Tug Hill where most of the trails are seasonal roads or logging roads they dont change anywhere near as much as they do in WNY where I live and all the trails are on private property. But that was the point of my comment, the accuracy of most paper maps is sketchy at best unless the map is brand new.
