Ya I thought it was my booth renewel coming in the mail and it was a cancellation announcement. Bummer. I'll have to poke around a little about this other location idea.

I could see Victory Lane Speedway bringing in the W.S.A. Heard that they might be putting a motocross track in the centre of the existing track as well.

It needs to be in the one natural place for Manitoba. The CPTC raceplex just like it was in 1977 when they ran it with the CPTC championships in March and again 3-4 years ago for the Candia snocross racers. Both times it was great.

CPTC should also do grass drags in Oct. like they used to but add a swap met just like HayDays.

The reason the snocross lost money was the crazy high ticket prices. If they would drop it to $15-20 many more poeple would attend and they would make tons more revenue. They also need more dealer display, hey get Coffey and Royal distributing just like they came out one year at the Oct. Hot on Cold Sled Show in at the Convention Centre. They also should drop the Saturday races or charge 1/3 the price, if you saw them and then the pros on Sunday you would never want to pay to see the Saturday races.

I'm pretty PO'd that there is no PRO sno-X this year. I thought there was lots o poeple there both years, and with the crazy high prices, they should have made money! - especially with the $4.50 per beer........hell I contributed enough to keep them in the black. :beer:

I helped out to build the track for the Beausejour snocross that we held with Can-am. It wasn't exactly a walk in the park when dealing with Can-Am. :doh: Did I say that??
I'm not involved much with CPTC anymore, but word is there have been talks earlier in the year with WSA in regard to Snocross. CPTC already hosts the WSA ice oval racers, and they love the facility! I'm pretty sure Mr. Bodley would like to bring it to CPTC also.
Can anyone else confirm??

Barrett don't worry you will get to see some pro-snow cross once my IQ 440 arrives !!!!!!!! i guess i will go to woodlands 'since it will be a snow drag i just changed my churchhill set up and am ready for saturday 6 hours of changing stuff 'time flies when your having fun! your belt was orderd today it will be here in the morning!!!!!!!stay real! stay SIC?K :augen41:

Oh come on Dean, Everyone that owns a iq is a pro snow crosser. I'll put my 440 back into my pro x and well have to see how much faster the iq is than the older pro x.

If anyone knows a CPTC director tell them to contact the WSA and make this happen.

I heard that it's hard to get Insurance in Canada for any Snowmobile Sanctioned race. Remember, these guys have a lot of rules to contend with. Not to say anything about the amount of money is put out.

Dino, Waylon got a iq 440 too. When's yours comming in ? I picked up my Rev on Friday. Time to start modding : ) I guess me and you are the only ones with new sleds this year eh. Gimme a call later, I might have something that you want.

i talked to blair morgan at the sled show about the wpsa coming to wpg, he figures it might be in december, but there also looking at it coming in february. either at the Goldeyes ball park or the Downs. should be nice and chilly for february.
