Don't know if this has been posted, been riding the past several day's. Do not put studs in the outer belt of your track they will open up your tunnel and gas tank where the tunnel tapers down. I found out the hard way :( and my studs only stick out past the lugs by a quarter of an inch as I use the screw in's from bottom line traction, which by the way are an excellent stud, me and a buddy logged over 7000 mi last year combined with these studs on ZR 800's and not problem.

It may have been posted but it sure wasn't in the owners manual, I mean I hate to bitch but why wouldn't they make a note on something like that in the owners manual. I was setting up 5 sleds for the christmas trip and really wasn't paying much attention to the posts. Which in reality isn't my responsibility.

Page 12 bottom left with picture of the owners manual and I quote - Studs must be installed only on the center belt.
