rode to beaver river ny on corridor 7 moguls all the way arrived at norridgewok inn and we see 2 groomers sitting side by side with about 6 inches of snow on them. we wanted to ride to old forge but everyone said the trails were just as bad so we turned around and rode 70 miles to lake clear ny where we spotted another groomer heading north towards malone ny :angry: what is wrong ive heard rumors about no insurance does anybody know the real deal i know franklin county was given an extra 80,000 just for grooming. :(

Man that sucks for you guys over there--hate to hear that
I know the groomer I run I have to keep track of every minute
so we can get the money for next year (of course right now we
might as well be playing golf) :angry: We use all volunteers
and rely just a little on local buisness but with last years bad winter
and this one not looking promising yet those places are not
really helping too much yet. Forecast is looking better though!

Hey BIGDOG if I was a groomer in NY I'd be grooming but
here in northern Michigan we just ain't got no darn snow :angry:
As for the info get in contact with your local clubs and ask the
question to them---I'm sure they are looking for help

I would assume it may have to do with this whole insurance thing. I know most of the trials in Chahtaqua County have been closed because they lost their insurance. And then they met in Wyoming County last Sunday night to discuss the same thing. This is becoming an epidemic. We all lose out becuase of a few snowmobilers who act like asses and abuse the trails and the property of the landowners who allow those trails on their land.
