There is another trail that was off 2c just east of Danville, maybe ca101 intersection. This was a secondary trail that looped south of St J. There is an intersection number showing CA350 between Wilson road and Keyser hill road. Those secondaries down there not open anymore?
Just texted VAST to have them look at it. There have been several trails that have need to be turned on.

What happened to Trail 142 going South east out of Island Pond? Did we lose it or did they forget to put it on the map? The junction numbers are still there.

142 is closed for logging until sometime in January. When a trail is closed for any reason, it gets taken off the map so that the trip planner doesn't route people down it. As for @mxzwild question, Matt is looking into it.

Unfortunately, I'm getting the same thing. Message telling me my internet or wifi isn't enough to optimally display map. I'm currently at work up by the Berlin airport with at&t/first net with 3 bars and have excellent wifi and getting the same blurry background. I left it open for 5 minutes or so and no change. The road route markers are ridiculously too large and because of the background blurriness, can't tell what town I'm looking at. If this map needs 4 strong bars or 5g, I don't think any of vermont has 5g that I have noticed and 90% of the area of Vermont won't have more then 3 bars so you won't ever get fully loaded clear map. Hate to be a pessimist but so far my impression is the previous map was far superior with view and user interface/ease. The scale of the background features are just out of proportion. Hopefully working better for others or they are developing a better version.
We are not alone in this and even with the 5$ nothing changes
Best I can do is uninstall and visit the website to see a clear picture

More opening on the south end. Starting to understand the functions of the Map. Hopefully it all gets worked out before the season is over.

Just my observation from the previous version, the base map and trails were downloaded to phone storage and not constantly trying to refresh. I used the app (android) plenty of times with the phone in airplane mode since i had terrible coverage up there in years past. You obviously couldn't see conditions updates, etc but it was usable offline since the GPS was updating your location on the map.
Admittedly I haven't played with the new version since my phone broke and I'm on a temp phone currently, but it seems like that's what its trying to do and is going to be a problem give the nature of the data coverage in many locations.

Good evening. Map still sucks for me. Same conditions with same message about insufficient service. I have starlink here at home and if that ain’t good enough then it will never be. Very disappointing, another example of downgrading

What really sucks is 98% of the map is RED and who knows before even half turns GREEN. The map issues are a drop in the bucket to having no trails OPENED !

Mark, so I just tried the app for myself, downloaded on the latest Android version. I'm getting the same results as @mxzwild and @Doomxz600. Scrap the app and go thru the web portal and everything is fine.
I'm also sitting 4 feet from my wifi router thats connected to fiber, so its definitely not an issue with my internet connection. I got the message that it was downloading & storing map data when I first opened it so not sure whats going on. Even restarted the phone before deleting the app to make sure something wasnt hanging up in the background.
