i dont think there is any adjustment to it. safe?? i dont know . WOT on the stand my EGT temps are only 1000 to 1100? i also have the BMP stock pipe mod, PAC, and D&D y-pipe. i think 1250 is the temp you dont want to reach. BA BOOM!! :banghead:
also have the same reading you do on the gauge 42 to 43 at idle and 38 at WOT.

egt is usless on the stand, you cannot do anything correctly unless the engine is under load

You have to test the restrictor anyways on WOT runs.

So why not just take it to the lake (when we get ice) and start off with a short WOT pull and check plugs. If ok run longer and longer until you are comfortable with the plug reading. If it's lean take the restrictor completly off. If it's rich you can adjust down on the lake.

Not sure why you are nervous here. Do the testing first. Take 10 minutes max.

WELL THE ONLY THING IM GOING BY IS THE STAND A REV IT UP A LITTLE TO ENGAGEMENT THEN BLIP IT AND HOLD A SECOND OR TWO SPEEDO READING 122-124 THEN BACK OFF TILL I SEE WHERE THE GAUGE IS DROPING TO WHICH IS 38 PSI IS THIS NOT AT ALL ACCURATE?

LOL!! this is funny, I laugh everytime someone asks what FP to run on their F7!! No two guages or sleds are alike. Different quality guages will have different readings!
I have on my car an electrical and mechanical guage on the fuel rail. They are both tee'd on the same spot. The electrical guage (in the car) reads different.
All in all, it's for your own reference.

btw..FP at idle is fine..but you aren't getting anything on the stand....you need to drive the sled to create load and then you will see the proper reading.
