There were 4 new shelters where they keep the groomer in the park last year, one is going to smith forks next week. Anybody know where the other 3 are going? Be nice if you could fuel up in the park as well

My understanding is that the bridge was replaced a few years ago but the gate on it has remained closed through the winter.....

Says on Bathurst trails they're going to be grooming the old trail from the park to popple (for part of the winter anyways).

Yes, fuel at both places. Check NBFSC webpage or FB for hours the place in the park is open & you may want to call Governors, he was not open last year Monday & Tuesday so he could run to town but now that somebody is there cooking that may have changed.
Heading north in a few hours, not sure why the app is saying the 504 wasn't groomed but looking forward to running it

Trail 504

Had hoped to check out that trail Saturday but since it was raining we decided to end our adventure at the Island Lake. Don from Bathurst Trails told me that they expected to groom after yesterday’s storm.

Has anyone been through recently?

About 2 weeks ago we were in the 21 mile or Prancer- we had to cut a few branches to get through a fallen trail

We traveled through trail 504 yesterday it was great to see it groomed again after 10yrs. Surprised to see a new 2 million dollar building in Mount Carleton Park for snowmobilers, hikers or cross country skiers. This along with gas available there now hopefully the 504 will remain open....
