I just orderd a 2006 crossfire 600 std. It hasnt come in yet but i just cant wait untill it does. Can anyone tell me about any problems i should check out before i start tering up the trails? also. I wanted to know how you guys broke in ur sleds. Like how long does it take and do you follow the dealers instrutions ( If they give me any).

P.S. I was thinking of installing a new mbrp (as well as some other stuff) can from royal distributing. Is this a good plan? I really want a nice sounding sled!

How could you be waiting for an '06 X-fire 600???

Anyway, I just bought mine new this year and have over 1200 miles on it already and haven't had a problem. The only thing mine needs is the oil pump turned down, it's running around 18 to 1 ratio.

I broke it in easily the first tank, after that it's on it's own!!

I think I got a new bike when I was that age!? And then to have cash to make it "sound nice", nice to me would have been anything with a motor, except lawnmower.

thats wierd waiting for an 06' maybe coming from another dealer. I will be getting a new 08 next year (crossfire)

if its from browns leisure then ya they ran out of 06s. before u get a can get those tunnel reinforcements

Ya I've herd about thoes tunnels bending on the crossfire. I might just have to get some suports. One more thing, What do you guys get for gas mileage. I herd 16 but i find that hard to beleive.

like 12, i dont have one but most people say 10-13
