19lbs with red Loctite on the botom and 50lbs on the top.

When you go to set your tension, rotate the secondary CCW till the side oposite the tensioner is slack. Then tighten till you have about 1/4" of wiggle in the chain. I like to rotate the drive train several times to make sure that things will stay put.

I would suggest carefull thought before using red loctite on the bottom bolt (or about anywhere else on a sled). If red is properly applied, when/if removing bolt again, about the time you remember it's been secured with red loctite, the sound of the head snapping off will be observed. You almost always have to apply heat to remove something fastened with red. The blue works fine....

I'm not so sure about that.... I personally have not had a problem yet. (knock on wood) I think that if the bolt is strong enough gr.5 or 8 and in good shape, you should not have trouble. I don't think that 271 (red) on a 1/4" or less is a good idea though.
