OK, I have searched, told him a bunch of things to try and am just looking for any other ideas. We are supposed to head out on a trip tonight and his check engine light is on. I told him to check all of his connections under the hood, charge his battery, clean his O2 sensor, check the connection for the sensor in the airbox, start it and let it run and then pull the tether, run it with the battery disconnected (if this is possible).

The sled runs, he checked the plugs and it is a little rich, but not too bad. He has ridden it with the check engine light on and said it appears to be normal but he isn't getting great gas mileage. I think it is the 02 Sensor but am looking for any other ideas so we can make this trip.

Can anyone tell me anything else he can try.

Does it have a knock sensor, if it does take it out and use red locktite on the mating surface(not the threads) if this does not work he is going to half to have the computer re-calibrated.
