I have a 09 rmk shift 600 144 with 1.5 in paddles. I ride in MI and need a better gear ratio set up. I can only do about 55-60 on trails and that's all most to the bar and I am using twice as much gas as a buddy's 800 summit, he has changed his gear from a 19 to 23. What should I change mine to? I ride about 50 50 on off trail.

Your problem isn't your gear ratio. Keep that at 20/41. You will do 90 mph with that ratio easily.

You should have 10/64 weights in the sled, and also check your primary clutch condition. Belt should be a 3211115. What rpm does it run at wide open?

It has the correct belt and it is newer. The clutches are fine. Track tension was adjusted at dealer. I still think I need a bigger sprocket in top

Where can I get these gears? The dealer only deals with part numbers and I can't find a 40t bottom. I found a 22t from a different sled but still need the bottom. Will a 22/41 work?

yup, but you'll need to pry open the clutch (watch your fingers!) - or pull the front cover to read the numbers on the sides of the weights
