I need a change I'm using Cat TXI helemt and Remia warrior parka,over heating bad.Need boards opinion, Thinking about changing to MX helemt HJC (ACX-1 NE0), and Klim parka (Valdez). Anyone use these or reconmend something else.and if so were can I get a good deal on these. Also what the best googles to get

Just bought a HJC CL-4X Ryzer MX style helmet for the same reason. I was absolutely sweating my arse off in the TXI. Tried my brothers HJC MX style helmet with goggles and loved it, rode all day at about 20 deg. comfortably. Lighter, cooler and a much better field of vision. Don't know how much use my TXI will get this year..... shame b/c it cost a pretty penny, especially when you factor in the electric shield.

As far as the coat I just take the liner out of my Cat Gore Tex and that keeps me cool.

I run a HJC mx style with oakley goggles, wont' go back to full face again, I just switch goggles for the lighting conditions, Better field of vision also...
