Ran up to Calumet with my buddy Mike, was gonna ride from Calumet to Copper Harbor. Seen how icy and thin the trails and snow was so decided to go back down to Greenland (Pat's) to unload where there was alot
more snow. From there we rode over to Rockland, the rails were frozen like concrete.
You can see from the picture it was so hard that only the carbide wear bars left a mark,
the track didn't even leave a mark. Had lunch at Henry's after, after the temps & sun
had warmed it up enough they softened a bit so we shot up 13N and played a little
then headed back. From what I seen and rode I'd say wait until we have snow, any
where up here thru the Keweenaw before good riding again.
But it may not take much snow.
Do the Snow Dance!!!!
