I am buying the extra fuel can. I need space for snacks, water, maybe clothing, oil or a rope. The rear rack bag looks nice, but I do not think it will fit well w/ the fuel can. There is a closeoff bag, but I do not know if it has adequate volume. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

I have a 900 Switchback and have both the fuel can and the rear rack bag. The way I did it was to put the can in the rack and the bag right behind it. The bag has straps that attach to the rack at one end and I have put eye bolts in the tunnel extension for it to attach to at the other end. The cooler is forward of this and there is nothing else in the way for the bolts. This works well and allows for the larger bag. I will post some pics in the Switchback forum later.
