Exactly same one I put on my sled. Went with function over looks. But is significantly warmer. I ordered mine with the low and handguards but with the cold winter we had I switched and ended up really liking the extra tall. Problem is when it's warm out its too warm. Easy enough to switch them out though.

6ft. The medium was not tall enough for me. The grandpa windshield from the Adventure is much better. That being said, every 6ft tall is not the same in height over the seat. Longer legs/shorter torso or vice versa make's windshield height different for everyone. Try as many as you can.

The regular Tall works very well. I am 6'2" and wear the mx style helmet with goggles. I have never had the hand warmers on high and most of the time they are off. It is kind of like the wide clyde See picture. I have on the Pro R just a little taller. In real life it looks good on the sled and you stay warm.

Cool. That was my hope. Thanks everyone for your input. Now if it could only be next winter already. Ha! :fistpump2:

anyone use the rox adjusters with the tall shield?
I should get the tall windshield in the mail today. Install this weekend and can let you know. I have the ROX adjustable on the LE. The low windshield is a piece of Sh*&. Although I expected nothing less and its on my sled only because that's what it came with.

I rode last weekend in mid to high 20's and was on the verge of cold. Looking cool has never been so dumb IMHO.

Makes your sled feel soooo much faster when part of the G-force you feel is the wind trying to pull you off the sled along with the horsepower :laff:.

My turbo cat came with the same type of useless windshield.
Great marketing eh ? Sleds look great in the brochures with a 3 " high windshield.
My dealer must have 50 medium-high windshields in stock.
Great way to suck the consumers into spending another 150 bucks, to get a real windshield.

hahaha...I agree

My dealer actually told me "you don't want a high windshield" those things are ugly. I said fine by me I will take ugly any day.

I had the medium and just bought and installed the tall (not the extra tall). So far it is the best $100 I spent on my sled (SB 800 pro s). The main benefit with the tall shield is it keeps hands WARM. I struggled all season with handguards and gloves. Now no issues at all. I'm 5'11'' and have no issues seeing over or through it.
My exact thoughts!! I agree with 5 shots of whiskey too! :laff: If you're looking to enter the sexy sled contest, get the medium because it sure looks better. If you want true wind protection functionality from your windsheild get the tall. When traveling in snow or sleet/freezing rain it helps quite a bit too. It's not just the wind we are trying to block. With the clear sheild you don't even know it's there.

How's that LE treating you? Mine is still awaiting pick up - and snow.

If it helps you get over actually wanting to be warm on yur sled, just call it a racing shield....alla the Iron Dog winners have them!

I went all in with the wide and tall. Bein wide makes the tall look less dorky and it covers the bars too.

The LE is absolutely a blast. I had so much fun with the power of the new HO that I didn't even spend much time setting up the suspension, bit it was pretty damn nice set to the factory preload settings. Just a note, make sure to check all settings and set it to factory. Mine were not close out of the box.

yep, the front springs and front track springs were right on, rear spring and all shocks were way off.

this the difference between tall and mid. I look at super tall which is 4" taller than the tall which is 20" and the mid is 15". One of the guys at my dealer said I was not old enough for the super tall. The tall is a lot warmer than the mid I had with Hand guards. I think the extra tall on real cold days would be perfect.
