That’s a good idea to post what we carry in our sleds for tools. I have similar setup, I will post pictures later. I highly recommend bag also.

I put all the tools in the tool kit and that sits on the bottom and sort of acts as a cushion. Everything else sits on top. As Fast Polaris said, it all sits under the seat, and I hope I never need to use it. If I do, there's enough in there to make a half ass repair to likely get me out of the woods and someplace safe.

 

I don’t believe there is any fractional hex head screws/bolts on the sled. I would replace the fractional Allen wrenches with torx drivers.

 

Just the clutch weight pivot bolts and belt deflection screw. So two sizes.

 

7/16 takes care of the Team adjuster jam nut.

The bag is a must have in my opinion. I do the same. Tools, tow rope, emergency stuff goes under the seat and stays there unless needed.

 

1/8" Allen for primary weight and secondary adjuster.
3/8" wrench for primary weight and cover bolts.
7/16" wrench for secondary adjuster

Modified 3/8” works best for weight pin nuts. Modified wrenches work well for chain adjustments too.

Looks to be a pretty good kit.

 

I bought the tool pouch without tools and figured on putting my own tools in it.

 

I like the underseat liner as well. I keep basic tools in mine and a tow strap. I just got a replacement heated shield for my helmet and it came with a new cable so I put it in there too. I keep slowly adding things that may be useful. I need to put a small first aid kit in there too.

Will an extra quart of oil fit along with the bag under the seat if you don't pack the bag full?

 

Yes, did that last yr, also had a 1-2" foam block on the bottom to protect the oil container.

 

What are we doing for an aftermarket bag under the seat? I heard some getting a dry bag off amazon... anyone do that and if so what is the best size to get? Heavy enough for tools?

I have used the Polaris 2884752 Underseat Liner Bag since it came out in fall of 2020. Carry mostly tools in it. Very sturdy and waterproof. Boost Flatland sleds use that space in the seat, to store a battery.
